The New “Spot Messenger” I bought last week (for a worker headed to the Middle East) now offers complete Medivac rescue service for $109 (for an individual), and/or $207 for a couple, $299 for family (mother, father, and unlimited biological or lawfully-adopted kids). On top of that, the Spot Messenger is lighter, smaller, and faster (plot your locationon a GoogleMap and text it to a list of 10 email friends for under 30 minutes!

This write-up is not clear to me. What is this … a GPS sort of locator? What do you mean complete medivac rescue service … what is included in that phrase and for what term does the cost cover? Is this device waterproof for at-sea rescue locating?
