Barnabas International and ELIM Retreat Ministries will sponsor 8 retreats for global workers returning to the States in 2010. Their purpose is spiritual and reentry debriefing, personal encouragement and renewal provided by safe people in beautiful environments. To me, these are really cool. You get a chance to kick back, talk about your experiences with someone who is not your boss and can’t fire you — what’s not to like about that? :-) Tell every secret you ever held back… and get them to swear to secrecy first. Gotta love it. While the retreats require a registrant fee, scholarships are available. The retreats serve adults only.
