Driving through the town of Karibib in traditional Damaraland (Namibia, Africa), one cannot help but notice the precious marble laying everywhere. This is a town that primarily survives on its marble excavation and marble work. Traditionally the Damara have been thought of as miners, partly due to marble excavation such as in Karibib. Even with this work, the town is still poor. But the most desperate need here is a spiritual need. Pray for the Damara people. Pray that they will soon hear the message that they are most precious to God. Pray that they accept this precious message that will make them truly rich for eternity.
