GETTING IN STEP VIDEO PREMIERS!
Last night (Thurs. eve.) in St. Louis, MO, at the Envision ’96 PitStop Training Weekend, Good News Productions and College Press premiered their new Getting in Step with the God of the Nations video series. The course features six lessons involving missions researchers, plus an additional 7th “application case study”. To order, call College Press at 1-800-289-3300 in the USA. In other locations, you may email to firstlight@woodtech.com . Now here’s the best part. You’ve seen sets of teaching tapes like these sell for $295.. but the presenters of this set agreed to forego payment of royalties and the producers and publishers are working at break-even costs. Plus the Garden Park Church in Toledo, OH, donated a handsome grant to offset production cost… so normal price is only $69 plus $6 shipping for the 4 tape, 7 sessions series. In addition, the director of College Press agreed to give Brigada Today readers an additional $5 discount if they order before Feb. 1! Churches and orgs can be invoiced. Don’t forget to mention that you read about it in Brigada Today for the immediate discount. The set comes with 6 study booklets and a “how to use it” guidesheet. This is great stuff — excellent for laying the groundwork for a future Perspectives course, since the themes include the Biblical, Theological, Historical, Strategic, and Cultural Perspectives. Several of the tapes are loaded with graphics, with one 45-minute session including well over 100 different teaching charts. The whole thing is professionally produced and broadcast quality. College Press is at PO Box 1132, Joplin, MO 64802-1132. Top notch. Good price. Did I mention that it’s good? :-)

JUMANJI REVISITED
Thanks to Roger Banner for pointing out that Jumanji (the Robin Williams movie to which we referred in the special New Years Eve message) is pretty nightmarish and frightening. Probably not the greatest evening’s entertainment for your 5-year-old! :-( So . . . let’s shout something else… maybe, Bambi!!! (Deer me!)

GLOBAL GLIMPSE – MILLIONS PRAY
Up to five million Christians worldwide are preparing for a month of prayer for Muslims. Around half a million copies of the 30 Days Muslim Prayer Focus guide have been distributed for this year’s event, coinciding with the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, beginning January 21. Published in more than 20 languages – including Chinese, Arabic and Hindi – the handbook highlights different countries, and people groups with a particular accent this year on families and children. Participants will pray for breakthroughs among the world’s billion Muslims, and a new wave of missionary endeavor.
