Not sure why this video is described as “edgy”…after all, isn’t this what each of us is called to do? That is giving all of ourselves…even our very lives? I love this video. Thanks for posting on Brigada!
Hi Jacque. We used the word “edgy” to describe the manner in which the material was presented. It’s cutting edge. How many videos have you ever seen in your LIFE that featured a real hand holding a picture of a face of a representative of an unreached people group, then reveal that face being plastered onto a painting that you see unfolding as you watch, in some kind of half-animated, half-jerky, half-surreal mode? Either way, like you, we are left loving it. :-)
William, believe it or not, there’s a “Page 2” to this story (as the famous radio news man, Paul Harvey, used to say). By the time these two young men were done, and the other Moravians who came with them, some 13,000 people had been baptized into the Lord on 5 different West Indian Islands. How ’bout that!
It was helpful that I had recently watched the film about these two young Moravians so knew the answer to the question “What happened?” I like the challenge in this video and it would be good for a young audience as part of longer session.
Matt is one of our finest student-missionaries at http://www.sebts.edu. He’s a local worship leader with a global ministry, having even started an orphanage in India. And the song is one of his many fine originals. May God continue to use him mightily for His glory and the joy of the nations.

Touching and thought provoking.
Do something bold. Don’t look back.
A nice half-talk, and then some irritating music. Left me wondering “WHAT HAPPENED?”
