This past week, a co-worker wrote to ask if we had come across a training resource called, Spiritual Multiplication in the Real World: Why some disciple-makers reproduce when others fail. Apparently, a large church in Texas is using it for training missional communities and goers. Anyone heard of it — or better yet — is anyone using it? If so, would you mind sharing your experience with it? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. https://www.amazon.com/Spiritual-Multiplication-Real-World-disciple-makers/dp/1942374003/ref=sr_1_1.

Yes, we have used it with summer missions interns. It is the main text that Launch Global uses in its missionary training as well. It is a good resource and addition to the movements conversation.
OK! Thanks for your recommendation, Grant!
Hey guys,
My name is Andy Kampman, I help lead Launch Global. We use SMRW for our 10 week training groups. This last spring we had over 800 people in 10 week groups in 25 different churches LG works in and with, go through this experiential training. The secret sauce is in the modeling…of abiding, outreach/ evangelism and prayer and doing it as a team. From these 10 week groups we recruit folks into 9 month groups which start every September and then from there send long term workers to the Unreached Peoples of the world (those with no access to the Gospel) . Just to give you some insight into how God is working through these groups… this spring Harris Creek Church in Waco, TX had 48 people in these 10 week groups and over the course of 10 weeks they had over 1000 (not a typo) spiritual conversations across Waco!
All that to say, God is raising up laborers in the US and the nations to get the glory He deserves!
