Where do you start your day, while eating your oatmeal or drinking your morning juice? I often start at…

But I know many prefer Fox news. Which brings me to the question, what’s the best news site on the web? Where can you learn the most about the world in the shortest amount of time? Please click “Comment” after the web version of this item.
The best news site is the BBC in any of its various versions. BBC World Service is my first stop, followed by BBC Five Live, a 24-hour news station.
news.google.com which searches all news sites, adding my own custom settings for regions, topics or sources of interest, including overseas news sources in other languages.
BBC provides truly worldwide coverage, especially for Africa, Asia and Europe. It is comprehensive, fresh, and timely Monday through Friday for events occurring 9 hours ahead of west coast US viewers. In contrast, its weekend reports are dated and stale. No news service, provides timely, un-bias English language news for Latin America.
BBC news on an android device downloads pictures and stories which can then be read off line. Almost like getting a newspaper.
More US newspaper and radio/TV websites are doing that for their stories as well, meaning you can easily download stories from your hometown.
Finally, the Google News website can give you a lot of headlines, even if you don’t want to click on the links. It downloads quickly. You can also customize it by using the name of a country or capital city to get specific international stories.
For accurate and truthful news with an upright world view, FOX NEWS is my choice.
Ditto to response from “A” . Utilizing news.google.com allows for integration of BBC, Fox, or whoever you prefer and you can’t weight them as desired. You can also watch areas of the world (Libya, Gaza, etc) or issues (trafficking, Android, etc) which have your interest. It can stay current cross platform on desktop, tablet, or phone.
typo – should say “CAN weigh them as desired”
