For years, I’ve taught Perspectives. But this week, I’m taking Kairos and, although it’s built on the same framework, I’ll have to say, Kairos is worth it for your church, college, or organization. The “secret is in the sauce.” Kairos takes the head knowledge and gets it to your heart. About 1/3 of the time, I’m guessing, is spent on mobilization, activation, and application. You can do the full intensive course in a 40-hour work week, or you can spread it out over 10 weeks, one lesson per week — and all combinations in between Check it out at the USA site at…

You’ll be glad you did.

Having just completed the kairos course in its 1 week intensive form, i can highly recommend it. Having been through similar training years ago, now after 7 years on the mission field it not only served as a refresher, refilling us with excitement for reaching the unreached, it also opened my eyes to the great need for the church of non-western, “majority world” nations to awake to the vision for the nations. Watching the Ugandan pastors around me light up with new understanding of the purposes of God was a highlight – I think every church should include this course in their regular discipleship material. It’s foundational!
