I’ve read the privacy policy. It sounds ok in its current form. Of course, they could change it at any time. But the price is right. (Up to 3 pages for free, so long as you’re willing to look at an ad on the cover page.) The privacy policy promises that they won’t release your personal information — per se. Thanks!
We have used FaxZero with good success — quick and easy and no apparent problem with privacy concerns or security.
If you have a smartphone, you can actually take photos with your phone and upload the JPEG image directly to a free fax website such as http://www.GotFreeFax.com to send. Just make sure you take the photo with plenty of light so the fax image will look clear.
