Have you read Curtailing Corruption: People Power for Accountability and Justice by Shaazka Beverle? It explores how citizens can counter corruption and hold power holders accountable through nonviolent civic movements. It highlights various grassroots efforts worldwide, demonstrating the strategic value of people power in the anti-corruption struggle. 6) Harnessing People Power

Thanks Doug and Tina and Brigada. À very crucial snd one-of-a-kind book to instruct us all. Sadly corruption is rampant now and through the centuries globally and in the church- mission community (CMC) . Rooted in all of our own souls too of course. Ephesians 4: “ if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, 22 that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old [a]self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, 23 and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,”. Have a look Brigada readers at the resources on the Global Integrity Day—9 June 2025 (GID) website that we coordinate. The theme this year is Developing Resilience Virtues and Skills — for living in integrity snd fighting corruption. We feature this book and many other items on the GID site. Following Jesus in confronting corruption is costly as we know only two well in doing so in the CMC. . Kelly and Michele
