As we embark on the Christmas season, we all find ourselves living out family traditions. The traditions that create lasting memories. We recently read the blog post titled “How Do Church Traditions Fit with Disciple Making?” by Craig Etheredge (found here: https://discipleship.org/blog/how-do-church-traditions-fit-with-disciple-making/). Etheredge shares personal anecdotes about family traditions and how they reinforce values and pass down truths from one generation to the next. He draws parallels to church traditions, noting that while they can be beneficial, they must not hinder the primary mission of making disciples. The blog highlights the importance of balancing traditions with the need for change and adaptation to effectively reach and engage new generations. How do you embrace church traditions and effectively multiply disciples? Please comment!
