A Bible translator wrote Brigada this past week to ask, “A while back you wrote about trying all kinds of headphones and loved the JBL. You sold me. I do love them, however, I’ve not found a way to decline an incoming call on my phone while I’m on a Zoom call without being disconnected from the Zoom for the 30 seconds it takes me to decline on the phone, and reconnect the bluetooth on Zoom. I currently have to turn off my phone completely to not be interrupted. JBL says there is no option for this. Have you found any way to deal with this?” Sadly, we had to reply that we have the same problem too – and that, in fact, we’ve seen this behavior on multiple earbuds from multiple manufacturers. Does anybody know – is there an easier way to deal with this, other than powering down one’s phone while we’re on a Zoom call? Thanks in advance for any clues.

Do as I do make Zoom calls or get involved in using your notebook computer not your phone.
I just turn off my phone’s Bluetooth rather than the phone itself.
Yes! Just switch off Bluetooth on your phone
