During one slice of time each year, we share openly that it would be a super-helpful thing if some of our closest friends were to pitch in to help make Brigada possible for another year. We started in January of 1995 and we’ve been weekly ever since. (Ok – we’ve missed a *few* weeks – but not many.) Thanks to your help, Brigada runs on a snappy, dedicated, managed server with enough bandwidth to serve up resources, information, and trends, regardless of how many friends search at the same time. We regularly endure denial-of-service attacks from not-so-friendly forces the world over, but that server (and the good folks who manage it) keep everything running smoothly every day. (There’s a team that manages it 24/7, believe it or not.) Your gifts also cover part-time help from an assistant and cover the costs of weekly emails to thousands via Amazon Web Services, all without flashing a single distracting ad. Brigada’s pages are clean – pure missions mobilization and resources. What’s more, there are no pay walls. Everything is offered to one and all, regardless of their salaries, position in life, or place of upbringing.
