This is a program that started in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and is gradually moving to other cities in Canada and other countries as well. It is a simple program in which Christians sign up to host international students to come to their home for a Christmas (or Easter or Thanksgiving) dinner. Organizers equip hosts in befriending people of other cultures. They help you pray for opportunities to share your faith as God opens doors. The hope and prayer is that these friendships will continue and students will come to know the Lord because of their deep friendship with a Christian family at a time when they can feel kind of lonely otherwise.
