There have been plenty, actually. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) have recently begun calling on the international humanitarian sector to do more to respond to the needs of the world’s most vulnerable people. They documented 3,751 “natural hazards” for the past ten years. (Whoa — that’s more than one a day. No wonder people are stressed.)
