The next School of Urban Mission (SOUM), a ministry of YWAM, will commence in Mumbai on Oct. 1st, 2018 and end on Dec. 22nd. More than half of the world’s population live in cities and this poses a tremendous challenge to churches today. The SOUM has been developed to equip students and urban workers to meet the challenges of the cities and bring transformation. Under guidance from several experienced professors, students will visit various shopping malls, banks, companies, IT offices, collages, poor neighborhoods, many ministry sites and churches to learn about bringing transformation in all areas of the city. Insiders like bankers, professors, lawyers, government officials, beggars, rag pickers, street children, vegetable vendors, slum dwellers and other people will take their respective turns, along with credentialed profs, in sharing with the students.
