Last week, I decided to use Doodle to help our church’s Missions Committee find a common slot for a meeting.
Then Brian (again, from Train) happened to mention it this past week as well. As Brian said, “It’s incredibly easy and allows you all to coordinate your schedules by identifying potential meeting date and times, then allowing each person to use check boxes for times that would work for them. Set it up in 10 min and it does all the work for you to coordinate 3 or 30 people’s schedules and discover the meeting time that brings together all or the majority.” In our case, it made things easy to find a common slot for all our committee members.
This used to be a very helpful tool, connecting to calendars to provide a really helpful insight. Then they went “freemium” and you can only connect to your calendar if you pay for it. It can still be helpful, but it means you have to manually “cross out” all the times that don’t work for you within the potential time period.
