Now here’s a bigger question though. Suppose you wanted to stage a conference for 75-100 people in Europe… maybe someplace like Croatia or Greece. Are there great places by the sea somewhere that offer tremendous facilities for cross-cultural workers as a partial or full-funded ministry? … or even low rates? The resort was recommended to us by a local Greek man leading a ministry in Athens. He uses the resort for his gatherings. Our group of 100 were happy enough with the resort. As we were departing the resort another organization was arriving for their own pre-conference preparations for their even larger gathering the next weekend.
The Zodhiates International New Testament Study Center facilitates conferences for mission organizations in Greece. We can accommodate groups up to 500 at Eritrea Village Conference Center or smaller groups at many other venues. While we can set up a standard staff retreat, we also delight in taking missionaries to the places where Paul first engaged in missionary outreach. It makes for a physically relaxing and spiritually meaningful retreat. Our staff are all faith-based missionaries as well so we work to keep prices as affordable as possible for those we serve.
