That’s the purpose behind the two-week conference known as Engaging Islam, scheduled for March 10th-21st (two modules: Evangelism March 10-14, and Discipleship March 17-21 at Team Expansion’s home campus (Emerald Hills) on the southeastern outskirts of Louisville, Kentucky. Designed for anyone interested in Muslim ministry (missionary candidates, missionaries on furlough, church missions directors, missions committee members, perspectives students, and seminary students as well), the course includes material from 3 elements —
a) Academic: Morning lectures provide a wide spectrum of subjects including history, theology, and apologetics;
b) Practical: Afternoon workshops and case studies explore different evangelism approaches.
c) Spiritual: Evenings are dedicated to worship, sharing and a spiritual challenge emphasizing the roles of faith, prayer, boldness, and the Holy Spirit.
