Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM) has a vision to share Christ’s love through veterinary medicine.  Because many of today’s unreached people are livestock-based societies, CVM has developed a series of books for farmers in the  third world on raising healthy cattle, fish, horses, pigs, poultry, rabbits, goats, bees and sheep.  Goats, pigs, poultry and rabbits are available in Spanish and poultry is available in French. The books are user friendly, easy to understand and many have found them useful in improving animal care.  They can be a good resource for outreach and building relationships.  In addition, “Where There is No Animal Doctor” is an outstanding book and covers health care for a wide variety of species. Overseas missionaries will find this a useful reference on the field. Travelers and short term teams can take them as gifts. Churches can use them in outreach activities.  Brigada readers can get one free book with each similarly priced book purchased by emailing their order to

vetbooks@cvmusa.org and mentioning Brigada in the email. Learn more about CVM at
