Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization (ECHO) is offering a one-week course called “Introduction to Tropical Agricultural Development” February 22 – 26 and May 3 – 7. ECHO is a Christian non-profit organization based in Fort Myers, FL which is equipping those serving internationally with resources and skills to reduce hunger and improve the lives of the poor in the name of Christ. Course participants will receive instruction on poverty, community development, proven agricultural principles/practices and practical techniques, systems and technologies to meet agricultural and nutritional needs of small-scale, impoverished farmers. There will also be time for hands-on work on ECHO’s global farm and exposure to ECHO’s technical resources. Sign up at
