  1. LEARN TO START A BUSINESS FOR HIS SAKE — The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED) and Creative Access Associates is bringing together an unusual combination of top entrepreneurs and business trainers for one dynamic three week seminar. Join Peter Tsukahira, Dwight Nordstrom, David Bussau and others experienced and skilled in Kingdom business planning, financing, managing, and training in China, Mongolia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and other parts of the 10/40 Window. Participants will experience an intense learning environment, exposing them to the rigors and joys of starting and running a business as missions as well as receive hours of personal assistance from expert consultants on their individual call, business plan, and investment proposals. An optional track prepares students in setting up micro-enterprise programs. The seminar will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 8-26, 2003.   3. LEARN ABOUT AFGHANISTAN — “Learn-Afghanistan” is a daily email sent by strategicnetwork.org. It will give you a brief overview of an issue, city, province, people group, or event in Afghanistan and tips on how to pray. The information is completely public and may be reproduced in newsletters or church publications.   6. LOOKING FOR CURRENT AFRICAN AMERICAN MISSIONARIES — If you know of any currently serving Af-Am crosscultural missionaries, your help is needed. Previous research was done on why there are so few such missionaries (see http://www.RMNI.org/dissertation ) A follow-up research project is locating those CURRENTLY serving. You can assist in 2 ways. First, you can send any name(s) and contact information, including email, of such missionaries to . Next, you can direct such missionaries to http://www.RMNI.org/research/index.htm where the survey can be completed online (a survey can also be emailed, etc). The research has the endorsement of COMINAD (Cooperative Missions Network of the African Dispersion). Data collection should be complete by 2004.   7. MISSIONARY IN TRAINING PROGRAM — Mexican Medical Ministries will offer a cross-cultural immersion training experience called “Missionary in Training” (M.I.T.). This program is for leaders of short mission trips or those that are considering long-term service in a Spanish based country. Some of the training sessions will cover the following: “Using Health Fairs with the Local Church”; “What does it take to make it to the Mission field?” “Discovering and fulfilling the Call of God” “Using Mime on short term mission trips” “Learning Ballooning” The M.I.T. will take place in Baja, Mexico.
