Published in Singapore in 1991 by Campus Crusade Asia Limited, this book gives a Biblical perspective on bribery and extortion and applies that perspective to bribery issues in one country. After five chapters defining bribery and extortion and considering what both the Old Testament and the New Testament say about them, Richard Langston applies Scripture to the bribery problem in the Philippines where he served. His insights will be helpful wherever you serve. The book is now available to download free of charge as .doc, .pdf, or .zip files for your computer and as .mobi or .epub files for your Kindle or Nook. You can’t beat the price. Find it at…

REGARDING THE DOWNLOAD PROCESS FOR THIS BOOK: The Web page is oriented toward traditional computer use, so users of iOS/touch devices may see it as convoluted to download to a PC and then sync with the touch device. Here’s PC-less solution which applies to this and other ebooks of this type: On my iPad, I downloaded it in Safari, then touched the center of the book’s page which opened a bar at the top of the screen with “Open in…” buttons. I touched the “Open in GoodReader” choice which not only opened it in Good Reader by downloaded it to the iPad so I can read it offline. In GR’s Documents panel, touch-and-hold on the document name to bring up the Manage Files panel which has an option to rename the document so that it will sort into whatever order you want. (I wanted it to list with other items on bribery rather than under “m” for missionary.) I highly recommend Good Reader as one of the best” must-have” iOS apps. –Ed
MORE ON THE DOWNLOAD PROCESS FOR THIS BOOK: I forgot to mention that you don’t need GoodReader (although it’s an awesome app) for opening this ebook on an iOS/touch device. The “Open in…” button let’s you choose from a panel of all the appropriate apps for opening this ebook. Other options will include, for instance, opening in iBooks or Kindle (if you have downloaded the Kindle reader app).
