If you’re like I am, I long to find good unbiased news. Previously, I mainly listened to my parents. They new all the news that was fit to tell. But now that they’ve passed away, where should I turn? Seriously, I’ve been hearing a lot of people refer to this Apple News deal now. Have you been using it? I’ll admit. I’ve been slow to consider it. For some reason, I assumed it was some kind of marketing tool — or maybe something that would have Facebook-type news. (Cats in a dryer or something like that.) But apparently it’s the real deal?
(Thanks for the tip, Shawn.)
How is apple news different from Google News?
Personally, seeing that the leaders of most of the Silicon Valley companies (including Apple) are quite left-wing in their viewpoints, I try to stay away from them, just as I do the mainstream media sources, or Facebook as a news source. It’s not much of a secret anymore that many of these “movers and shakers” in our society are avidly trying to influence what happens, rather than just report what is happening.
My preference is onenewsnow.com. I subscribe to their daily email that has news headlines and summaries, linked to full articles.
