3) What Will Be the Future of the Unreached People Group Paradigm? (Get the Guide)

3) What Will Be the Future of the Unreached People Group Paradigm? (Get the Guide)

We’re excited about the fall conference, “Priority,” from Missio Nexus. They’ve picked a super-relevant theme. The unreached people group paradigm has been the strategic core of the global missions movement for 50 years. Now they’re asking, “What has happened since it was introduced? How do missiologists understand it now? What does the future hold for this theological paradigm?” Get the entire event guide, released just this week, at https://web.cvent.com/event/5fe1f6bc-7e6f-459d-8cde-32956c3381df/websitePage:28911a79-254c-4181-a10d-b9fc6031eb3f. read more…

4) Does Your Org Have an AI Policy?

4) Does Your Org Have an AI Policy?

If so, we’d love to hear from you. A long-time Brigada partner wrote earlier this week, noting that, in his org, they were trying to figure out how to insure secure use of generative AI. They were wondering what kinds of policies or standard operating practices they need. They were regretting, “If we keep the “Chat History & Training” setting disabled’ (so as to avoid the use of sensitive organizational information to train GPTs that are publicly available), this eliminates the possibility of continually training a tool in certain topics (which can be one of the greatest assets that AI offers). If you or your organization has such a policy, would you point to it in a comment below? Thanks in advance! read more…

6) Distracted by Certain Apps on Your Phone?

Are you distracted by certain apps on your phone? For example, you could disable Safari outright through content restrictions in the settings. Under screen time -> content & privacy restrictions -> content restrictions, you can disable Safari completely. Do you have a solution like this? … maybe even a better one? Someone this past week old us about Opal. Have you tried that approach and, if so, would you jot a comment about it below? Thanks (in advance)! read more…

8) Macedonian Call: Bariba/Fulani Communities

In Nigeria, there are several Muslim communities which are still vastly underserved (when it comes to testimony about Jesus). Please pray for the Baribas, Fulanis, Bororos and Tangitas. Though they are different tribes but they speak Batonu as a common language. The majority are Muslims, whereas others are traditional worshippers. This past week, a Brigada reader asked for special prayer “that Transformational church planting would happen among them.” Learn more about 53 unreached people groups at https://joshuaproject.net/filter?ROG3=NI&LeastReached=Y. Let’s pray! read more…
