We recently asked if anyone has a suggestion for a conference or retreat center in North America that can host around 250 people, with hotel-style rooms, a main session room, and several smaller rooms for workshops? We’re looking for recommendations for a ministry gathering and would love to hear about places that have worked well for your team. If you’ve found a venue that’s been a great fit for conferences, retreats, or training events, please comment—especially if it’s welcoming, affordable, and easy to work with for groups of this size. A place with good lodging, flexible meeting space, and a peaceful setting would be especially helpful. Someone recommended Ridgecrest. Any other ideas?

Outside St. Louis, MO is Child Evangelism Fellowship’s HQ which is quite underutilized. Also, in Texas about an hour from Austin and 2 hours from Houston is Camp Tejas
We just attended a conference at Aldersgate Camp & Retreat Center in Turner Oregon, just outside of Salem. The accommodations and food were great, lots of options for sizes of meeting rooms and many activities available right there at the camp.
