Hands-on training in film making and video production is coming to CANIL in Vancouver, June 22 to July 3, 2026. This workshop offers practical experience in creating videos that share local languages, tell meaningful stories, and engage viewers with Scripture and community needs.
Participants will learn to:

Develop videos with local participation.

Complete projects from start to finish.

Work with a variety of recording equipment.

Prepare, direct, and edit a film scene.

Use open-source editing software to finish projects.
This course is offered by CANIL in partnership with SIL Global and is open to anyone involved in ministry, development, mobilizing funding, or public relations.
