A Brigada reader from Slovenia recently wrote with a question we suspect others may be facing as well. Their ministry team is in the process of finding a new contact management and partner development software, as Partner Essentials (PE) is being phased out. They’ve explored Epistle (PE’s recommended replacement) but found that it doesn’t meet their needs and functions quite differently than what they’re used to. Can you help? What tools are you using for managing contacts, tracking partner development, and staying organized in ministry relationships? Are there software solutions you’ve found effective, especially for small teams or cross-cultural ministry contexts? If you have suggestions, experiences, or cautions to share, your input could be a real help to fellow workers navigating this transition. Thank you for any help you can provide!
2) Looking for a Partner Development / Contact Management Alternative
I would like to know what responses you receive. I have moved over to Epistle, but I similarly find it to be not quite what I’m after.
I would like to know what responses you receive. I am interested to know the same.
I still like using Tntmpd software. you download it and it does everything I need it to do.
DonorElf (www.donorelf.com) is what I’ve found to be the most similar to PE and it actually presents the data in a very easy to understand dashboard and since our organization already uses DonorHub the connection to DonorElf for donation information was done in like minutes. The cost is $13 per month and they give you two months free to try it out. Anytime I’ve needed support from DonorElf, they’ve responded the same day. I can NOT say the same for Partner Essentials. It’s usually weeks or longer before I hear anything from them. The hardest part I’ve had is getting Partner Essentials to respond to my request for a full data export so I could receive all my old task information.
