1) Serving As Senders~Today REPRINT
This rather open ended question seems to be asking for specific answers. OK. Here’s my specific answer: the best way to get news from home, is via audio, e.g., voice notes of whatsapp. By these means one gives the eyes a rest from reading the screen, and gets a lot more ‘feeling’ and context from a message than one does a written text.
Thank you, Jim, for your suggestions. This is exactly what I need.
Apps such as Signal, iMessage, TEAM (if your company is on it) or LINE (in many Asian countries) is usually good for regular quick communication. But face-to-face is still the best, FaceTime, TEAM, WebEx.
Thank you, Derrick, for your input. I agree that face-to-face is best….even in person at least once a year. I trust these platforms for communication hang around for a few years!
