A Brigada reader recently wrote with a question we thought might resonate with others. They are sensing the Lord opening doors to help start a Christian school with the explicit purpose of making disciples in their local context. If you were going to start such an adventure, how might you begin? What would be your first steps – if disciple making were your primary motivation? Feel free to reply with ideas, connections, or resources that might serve those stepping out in faith to disciple the next generation through education.
3) Inquiry: Starting Christian Schools as a Discipleship Platform
I would visit other Christian schools and take notes. I would look at the curriculum of different schools. Most good Christian schools use Bob Jones or Abeka.
I would decide what curriculum is best. I would interview different teachers, students and school leaders. I would watch videos, or sermons on discipleship. I would also read books or other materials on discipleship. I would research different disciple apps and choose which is the best. You could use more than one.

I would go to https://brigada.org and put disciple in the search engine.
