Last week we asked (https://brigada.org/2025/10/12_43910) for your favorite resources on sharing the Gospel and our lives with Muslims. There is no restriction on the type of resource, online, book (novels or academic), video or other resource, free or paid. The goal is to share this list with those new to the idea of sharing with Muslims. Share your favorites and most helpful or inspirational! Please comment!
So far the list includes:
- A book with excellent biblical teaching and a strong, loving approach is:
“A Christian’s Response to Islam” by Dr. James Garlow. This small book has educated me in core Muslim beliefs and equipped me to respond with biblical truth. (Thank you, Belinda!) Can I humbly recommend my weekly email called Muslim Connect? It’s a 300 word drip feed of encouragement to think about Muslims the way God does and love them like Jesus does. It’s occasionally provocative and sometimes even funny. The book I wish I had 40 years ago when I first began living and working among Muslims…
Who God Is: God in the Qur’an Compared With God in the Bible
by Rev. Richard P. Bailey
Rev. Bailey’s 60+ years of work and study are the backdrop to this eye-opening understanding of the worldview of Muslims around the world.
Thank you for these great resources. Are there any you would recommend to have Muslims read. I have had a few email me with questions and would love resources I can use to send those seeking Biblical answers for reflection. Thank you.
here is a resource we use: Salty Conversation Starters
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KykqOQh4A5738iTI5bt-j8QLTAvGYXMQz7kJBPJShVo/edit?tab=t.0
We use it in a Muslim context, but could be used in other contexts.
I found Ask Your Muslim Friend: An Introduction to Islam and a Christian’s Guide for Interaction with Muslims by Andreas Maurer to be a very insightful book.
