A book with excellent biblical teaching and a strong, loving approach is:
“A Christian’s Response to Islam” by Dr. James Garlow. This small book has educated me in core Muslim beliefs and equipped me to respond with biblical truth.
Better than a book: This in-depth online course is available: “Understanding Muslims – for the Sake of the Gospel.” Covers all aspects of understanding and loving Muslims, and reaching them with the gospel. All 10+ trainers have extensive experience in the Muslim world. The course is free of charge.

Out of China with Christ. In pdf format, and soon to be released in print.
This book says it is a novel, but most of the accounts written in the book are taken from real life events. Names and locations have been changed.
Two stories carefully crafted by Roland Muller. These stories are based on true events that he either experienced personally, or were experienced by people he knew. This book contains two separate stories, the first of a Chinese single man, and the second of a Chinese couple with a young son, who travel from China to a Muslim country, with a desire to share their faith in Christ with others. PDF is free to download.
