An Iranian court has sentenced Hesamoddin Mohammad Joneydi, a 45-year-old Christian convert, to 7 years and 6 months for “propaganda activities contrary to Islamic law” plus 7 months on related charges. He was accused of involvement in Christian training courses overseas, attending house churches and online Christian meetings, and promoting Christianity.   • Pray for Hesamoddin’s protection, spiritual strength, health, and endurance.

  • Pray for his family, that they would know God’s peace and provision.

  • Pray for the underground church in Iran — for wisdom, boldness, and unity.

  • Pray that justice and mercy would prevail in the Iranian judicial system and that converts would not be oppressed for their faith.
