A book that continues to be a favorite to Brigada readers is Bruchko by Bruce Olson. Olson’s story will amaze you and remind you that simple faith in Christ can make anything possible. What’s your go-to book?
You know my “go-to” books are SERVING AS SENDERS~ TODAY and PREPARE FOR BATTLE, but for this entry, may I suggest I DARED TO CALL HIM FATHER by Bilquiz Sheikh. POWERFUL! In today’s focus on Muslims, I think this would be a good read.
A go to book that originally was called the second book (second to The Holy Bible) of The English Reformation is Foxe’s Book of Martyrs. It’s a difficult read but honors the many heroes of the faith who layed down their lives for the Gospel and The Reformation of the church.
Another very influential and easier read during that foundational time of the English Reformation was The Pilgrim’s Progress by the godly John Bunyan. This book was dearly cherished by families and read over and over in homes of the faithful. I recommend both of these books

Bruchko. One of the first I ever read. Taught me to think outside the box.
Hudson Taylor’s Spiritual Secret – Dr and Mrs Howard Taylor
Mountain Rain – Eileen Crossman
There’s a Sheep in my Bathtub – Brian Hogan
